Milano announces the signing of Italian forward Tommaso Madaschi for the 2026-27 win2day ICE Hockey League season.
A Valle d'Aosta native — though born in Turin on April 27, 2005 — Madaschi is a right-shot offensive winger, 176 cm and 80 kg, capable of playing on both sides of the attack. Skating speed and a natural instinct for the net are the traits that have made him one of the most interesting Italian prospects of his generation.
Introduced to hockey at his local club, the Aosta Gladiators, his development path then took him to Switzerland at a very young age. After early stints at Martigny and Valais, he joined the Biel-Bienne organisation, where over six years he completed the full junior pathway.
The step up came with the Seeländer Under-20 side, where Madaschi established himself as one of the most prolific scorers in the category. Over three seasons at that level he totalled 70 goals and 54 assists in 137 appearances — performances that earned him his first call-ups to the Italian youth national teams and a debut in the Swiss League, the second tier of Swiss professional hockey, with HC Olten.
His continued progress convinced HC Ambrì-Piotta, the historic Ticino club of the Swiss National League, to sign him for the 2025-26 season. Loaned to GDT Bellinzona Snakes in the Swiss League, Madaschi made his first complete senior season a successful one: 19 points (11 goals, 8 assists) in 47 appearances. Alongside that commitment he also contributed to the Ambrì Under-21 side, adding 11 points in 9 appearances.
With the Italian national team he has already built meaningful experience: two appearances at the Under-18 World Championship and one at the Under-20 World Championship, where he recorded 5 points in 5 games in 2024.
With his arrival, Milano adds a young Italian talent to its roster, determined to take a further step up in a competitive environment like the win2day ICE Hockey League.
